About Emmaus line

Purpose of Emmaus
The focus of Emmaus is God as known in Jesus Christ and how that finds expression in the local church. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled life to be lived and shared with others. back to top

About Chrysalis line

What is Chrysalis?

Chrysalis "Flights" (for 10th through 12th graders) and "Journeys" (for young adults, ages 19-24) are three-day events. This three-day spiritual renewal time provides an opportunity for you to learn more about faith, to experience Christian love and support, and to make new faith commitments. The point is to inspire, challenge and equip you for a closer friendship with Christ and for Christian action at home, church, school, and community. back to top

What happens on a Chrysalis Flight?

You'll spend three days with other people your age in worship, prayer, fellowship, creative expression, recreation, singing, and discussion. You'll experience the love of God through prayers and the acts of service from a loving support community. Think of it as three days for you to discover or re-discover you spiritual self, to analyze and realize who you are in Christ.

Chrysalis Testimonial

Chrysalis is like a Walk to Emmaus designed for teenagers 15 years and older. I attended the Chrysalis flight this past summer. I thought it would just be a weekend of praying, but when I got there it was so much more than that. Along with praying, we sang, had church services, listened to talks, and played games. Despite all the food and fun there was a very serious side of it that allowed you to experience God in a very personal way and get to know yourself more. Throughout the weekend my fellow Chrysalis flight members and I shared many laughs and tears. I made some great friends and it was one of the most spiritual and moving weekends of my life.
